Lunch program
This year we are attempting a new lunch program that involves a food coordinator, Ms. Runquist, who will be creating a menu and making lunches for students who need a lunch. There will be no charge to students. The goal is to ensure meals are nutritionally balanced, incorporating foods from at least three of the major food groups: vegetables and fruits, grains, and protein, aligning with Canada’s Food Guide. We plan to start the program on October 6th. More information will be coming out soon that will include what is being offered to students.
Free Lunch Menu - DECEMBER
Week 1 (Dec. 1 to 5) – Dumplings
Week 2 (Dec. 8 to 12) – Chicken Wings & Veggies
Week 3 (Dec. 15 to 19) – Meatball Sub
Every Second Friday will be Pizza Day - $5 (free lunch will still be available for those that need it)

Weather Information
The weather in Hope changes frequently so it is important that your children are dressed properly.
Classes are outside rain or shine, so it would be a good idea to send an extra set of clothes in case your child gets wet.
In the winter please make sure your child has winter coats, hats, mittens and boots.
